About the VTB books from Lynda herself!

Hello all,

As the leaves turn (okay, we’re in Southern California, and not too many trees actually change color, but a few do), the temperature cools (finally!), and the fashions change (instead of bathing suits, wetsuits are donned), it is with great pride and excitement that we introduce a new product—the lynda.com Video Training Book (VTB). I saw the first copies at the Peachpit Press bookstore last week, and Tanya Staples (our director of production) and I are proud, proud mamas!

The idea of the VTBs is to provide video training with the added benefit of a book. Enjoy the bestof both mediums—video-based training and a printed guide! Each lynda.com Video Training Bookincludes hours of instructor-led video instruction, complete with a visual Reference Book to guideyou through each tutorial. The video tutorials let you learn at your own pace, while the book offers a complete reference guide, helping you identify the video tutorials that you want to watch (timecodes are printed in the book), giving you the exercise files you need, and highlighting important keyboard shortcuts, tips, notes, andpractical advice.

Next, press Shift + Command (Mac) Control (PC) + F to minimize the interface and go to full screen mode. To revert back to the “normal” interface press both shortcuts again.
